it's a kind of magic (give-away winner)

There is something magic in spring. This fantastic sun that after long, grey months, is starting to warm you with its delicate rays. The nature that wakes up to live another life. And me, with head full of ideas and motivation to do new things. It's a kind of magic. I love this moments when, sitting on my terrace and sipping coffee, I'm planning how to conquer the world. :)

C'è qualcosa di magico in primavera. Questo sole fantastico che, dopo lunghi mesi grigi, comincia a riscaldarmi con i suoi raggi delicati. La natura che si risveglia per vivere un'altra vita. E io, con la testa piena di idee e di motivazione a fare cose nuove. È una specie di magia. Amo questo momenti in cui, seduta sul mio terrazzo e sorseggiando caffè, sto progettando come conquistare il mondo. :)

I don't know why there is this cliche of the dusty and dull vintage clothes, mainly grey, brown or black. And that's what I see in vintage stores all around the world - a mountain of faded dresses! But vintage doesn't have to be like that! Good God, no! It can be funny, vibrant with a fresh red, yellow or blue. I'm not talking about a old rose pink, dimmed yellow and rainy sky blue, but about true rainbow of bold colors.
I felt in love with this internet vintage store form the first click! I found my vintage rainbow, seventh heaven of dresses, tops and jumpsuits....and the part I lost my head for - the necklaces! So unique! So magic! For who, like me, SO LOVES VINTAGE but doesn't want to look dull, there is also a vintagelicious corner, where you can find inspiration and ask the stylist whenever you need help!

Non so perché ci sia questo luogo comune degli abiti polverosi e opachi vintage, soprattutto grigio, marrone o nero. Ed è quello che vedo nei negozi vintage di tutto il mondo - una montagna di abiti sbiaditi! Ma vintage non deve essere così! Per amor del cielo, no! Vintage può essere divertente, vivace, con un rosso fresco, giallo o blu. Non sto parlando di una vecchia rosa, spento giallo e blu di un cielopiovoso, ma di vero arcobaleno di colori audaci. SO LOVES VINTAGE dal primo click! Ho trovato il mio arcobaleno vintage, il settimo cielo di abiti, top e tute .... e  ho perso la testa per ... le collane! Così uniche! Così la magiche! Per chi, come me, AMA VINTAGE COSì tanto, ma non vuole essere noioso c'è anche un angolo vintagelicious, dove si può trovare ispirazione e chiedere la stilista ogni volta che avete bisogno di aiuto!

I would love to wish you unforgettable NYE and happy 2011. The 2010 is almost over, it was a beautiful year that I passed with you all my dear readers (yes, we reached 500 readers!) and I would like to answer some of your questions and share some of my NY Wishes.

Vorrei augurarvi un indimenticablie capodanno e un felice 2011. Il 2010 è quasi finito, era un bellissimo anno, l'ho passato con voi, le mie care lettrici (si, abbiamo raggiunto 500 lettori! ) e vorrei darvi le risposte alle vostre domande e condividere con voi i miei auguri per il 2011.

 

I'm from Warsaw, Poland and for more than a year I live in Rome, Italy.

Sono di Varsavia, Polonia e da più di un anno vivo a Roma, Italia.

K come Karolina  (K for Karolina in English) became the title of my blog because here in Italy they all tend to write my name with C not  K and it kind of annoyed me :P 

K come Karolina è divantato il titolo del mio blog perchè qui in Italia tutti scrivono il mio nome con C invece di K e questo mi da un po' di fastidio :P

 

I love looking at other fashion blogs and what inspires me the most is the street style.

Adoro altri fashion blogs e prendo ispirazione dallo street style.

The designer that I admire the most is Karl Lagerfeld, so talented in so many fields.

Lo stylista che ammiro più di tutti è Karl Lagerfeld, così bravo in così tanti campi.

Are you kidding? No! I've never did professional modeling, I worked as a fashion stylist.

Ma state scherzando? No! Non ero mai una modella professionista, ho lavorato come fashion stylist.

If I had to chose one fashion piece I would die for a Valentino vintage dress.

Se dovessi scegliere un abito, morirei per avere un vestito vintage di Valentino.

As you know I recently moved to our new appartment and in all that moving in/out mess I found my forgotten but loved vintage denim jacket. So while half Europe is under an assult of the snow, Rome has still its warm sunny days and I'm parading in my new/old discovery :) 

Come sapete mi sono trasferita de poco al nostro nuovo appartamento e in tutto quel casino di trasloco ho trovato la mia dimenticatama ma amata giacca vintage. Così, mentre mezza Europa è sotto una assalto della neve, Roma ha ancora le sue calde giornate di sole e io sto sfilando nella mia nuova / vecchia scoperta :)
