Today i'm going in to work...
which means i'm dressed and up earlier than the norm.

I really feel bad i haven't been able to get back to you yet.
i've been swamped, but don't worry, i plan on getting back to each and every one of you as soon as i can.

Also about the Desktop Wallpapers... i should have a bundle of Wallpapers for you...
i've been working on drawing ornate things, so i did a drawing last night of lisa in lace.
i'm going to post it later hopefully...

A Little More Personal...

A few years a ago i started a journal... and i'm not one who sits and journals much, i usually sit and think. I wasn't really sure what the point of writing my thoughts down was. Any ways, so i thought instead of starting a journal i would make a book of "love". And instead of writing it to myself i would write it for my " true love " whoever that may be. Haha ok now i'm feeling a little too sappy. Hahah...
but any ways here are some drawings out of it. some of it has been blacked out cause it's private, sorry about that.

My Favorite Pass Time.

I wanted to show you some more from Volume 2 of my Lily and Gemma book/ Character Sketch Book (which by the way still needs a name for it.) But this is seriously my favorite pastime. Whenever i take a day off i like to draw in it. Not sure why, just really fun. But i'm almost done with Volume 2. It would be a dream to publish Volume 1 and 2.... Maybe some day... but here are a few pages out of it.

My Long Lost Picture...

Well... i start this painting/illustration like 4-5 months ago. but than i started the book and haven't been able to work on it.
she is my long lost picture. the girl in the pictures name is Josette, she is from this book series i've been dying to write. it will consist of about eight books. but yea i thought i would introduce you all to my little josette. Oh yea i designed the dress based of old persian patterns and architecture.

Oh also the second picture up here was my first attemp at painting. i know it's kinda raw.... but i guess it's a step. it my goal to get good at painting... so expect to see so Raw Paintings, cause it will probably take me a while to get it down.

Stacy Dupree Sent me the first 5 song demos for up our coming Siren Project ... needless to say this is all i've been listening to. the songs are Brilliant! if you guys aren't familiar with the band that stacy is in, Eisley, check them out! but yea i'm really excited. i can't wait till this project is done and you all get to hear the music ready the story and see the art.... i hope i haven't given too much away... hahah

Moving & Shaking.

wow, well i just was sitting at my desk working and got hit by an earthquake. It was kinda fun, i haven't felt one in so so so so long. The only thing i was scared about is all my art falling of the wall, but made it through so far and all are still on the walls! wooo-yoooo.

Also today i was cleaning out my hard drive, and i found two projects i never finished.... they where two animations. I really hope to have enough time to make them. the first one was a video i was making to an eisley song, about 3 years ago. it's really raw if i end up doing it i would want to start over on it.



This second animation is one i was going to do of a Christian Dior Collection. I wrote a song for it, and it was about a girl asleep in the forest, when a mysterious man in the forest (I was going to draw John Galliano as a Clocked man), anyways he makes the forest come alive and it dresses her in her sleep.... yea i really want to finish it, but never there isn't enough time in the day.

this is a old drawing i did in this sketch book i made that was super long.
it's of theses little girl ballerinas. Not sure why but it one of my favorite drawings.
i love that era.

Camille and the Trees

Hello my friends, this drawing below i did as a collaboration project with my friend Christie Dupree. The way it worked is i wrote music for a song and sent it to her. and then did this painting inspired by the song. and sent it to her, and then she wrote lyrics inspired by the painting. Her Version of the song isn't down yet. but i posted the version with out words. Let me know what you think.

Heather Marks Drawings.

Ok so there is a kinda funny story with these two drawings.About a year ago, i had done some drawings in my sketch book of a model Heather Marks.i don't know her, just drew off of some photos i liked and thought would be fun to draw.
And when ever i draw someone, i usually try to share it with them, just because i feel like there the true owner of the picture... if that makes sense? but anyways, i looked on myspace and not sure if it really was her. but sent her an email. haha. and to make a long story short, to this day not sure if it was her, i'm thinking it wasn't hahahha, but theses where the drawings.

The First Drawing of Being 23.

well yesterday was my birthday. Turned 23. i also flew home from Lake Tahoe via Reno yesterday. So got to doodle for the first time in a week. so this drawing i posted above is a bi-product of that flight. Hope you like it. i think the title of it is going to be. "ME and She at the Sea" Hope you like it.

If I Could Have My Way...

So one of my goals in life is to illustrate a Vogue Italia Cover.
About this time last year, i decided i would just make a few on my own instead of waiting for it to happen. hahah.
yep so here they are let me know what you think. :)

The Two Versions of Dior.

About a year ago I drew a thumbnail sketch of 5 girls laying on their backs.
The concept for the picture was that I wanted it to have dynamic composition and be interesting from every angle.
Once I finished the thumbnail, I set it aside for another time. Then a few months ago, I decided to illustrate Christian Dior's couture collection, and that thumbnail sketch was the perfect framework for the clothes. For three days straight I worked on the picture. It was 30" X 40" on illustration board. I used brushed ink and ink pens. I know I have already posted this picture in my Fashion Book, but I actually have 2 versions of this illustration. The original version is almost completely black and white, and the final is colored digitally. I actually mailed the original to Paris to The House of Dior two days after I finished. Still haven't heard anything back from them... maybe someday. haha

The Academy of Art LookBook

In June 2007 Simon Ungless, Director of Graduate Fashion at the Academy of Art, asked me to illustrate the School of Fashion's Lookbook for New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. I jumped with excitement at the offer. I worked night and day through the month of July producing one drawing a day for it. So yeah, this is my first Lookbook I've ever done. Hope yawl enjoy it.
