A Place I Want to See Someday

Morning My Friends.
Well as i mentioned a little while ago that My Brother, David and i are writing a Fantasy book.
I'm really excited cause i'm starting on the second chapter today! :)
I'm dying to finish it so you all can read it!
Only have 19 more chapters to go! haha yikes... oh well...
The Picture today is from the window display i did a few years back. (Click here to see Display)
When we took down the display, i had all the elements left over and didn't know what to do with them...
so i decided to Paint on top of some of the pieces and make them into smaller art pieces. hah
So this Great Wall of China is one of the pieces i made out of it.
Also this "From Russia With Love" picture i made out of my Saint Basil's Cathedral Drawing in the display.

P.S. i was thinking of Ustreaming some live drawing and maybe if i work up enough courage, do some drawing class type of things on Ustream... what do you think? is that something you would be interested in?

The World of Mr. McQueen

In February 2006 I had an idea to create a world and characters that would represent Alexander McQueen's Designs. I looked through all his runway shows from over the years, and picked out 12 outfits for the picture. After playing around with a few sketches, I decided to build the world as a sort of 3D/2D Layered Art Piece. I used all sorts of different papers and recycled cardboard. The final dimensions of it are 46 inches long by 26 inches high and 6 inches deep. I think I still have some of the early concept sketches. If I do I'll post it up here. I hope you like it.
