I would call it the alphabet of love :) It's a little gift I made for my boyfriend, he's so patient with me...And don't tell me the Q is missing (that was his first remark after opening the gift!) - there is no Q in polish! And I'm from Poland. You say the writing is in Italian? Oh come on - be a little bit romantic and close your eyes on some little (very little! who care about Q anyway!) mistakes.  

Io lo chiamerei l'alfabeto dell'amore :) E' un piccolo regalo che ho fatto per il mio ragazzo, lui è così paziente con me ... E non mi dire che manca la Q (questa era la sua prima osservazione dopo l'apertura del regalo!) - non esiste una Q in polacco! E io sono dalla Polonia. Dite che la scritta è in Italiano? Oh, andiamo - siate un po' romantice e chiudete gli occhi su alcuni piccoli errori (molto piccoli - chi se ne frega della Q ?!).

Helloooooo, what's going on here?!?!? It's raining since saturday non stop! It looks like armagedon - a great deluge. Noah! Are you there, I think we will need you once again. What's more I got flu and now tissues, hot cacao and blankets keep me company. But maybe it's better this way since outside the weather is so dull.

I don't think you want to see me in pijama so I'm showing you some new things in my wardrobe. I love the soft colors! Say "hi" to my new dress, t-shirt and oversized top!

Se questo non bastasse ho l'influenza e ora fazzoletti, cacao caldo e coperte sono la mia unica compagnia. Ma forse è meglio così perché  fuori il tempo è così orribile. Kiss me

Oh! I love the neon colors trend and the bold make ups of the spring summer season. I want to try some neon green eyeliner! 

Today the weather was so gloomy that it was almost impossible to resist and not to add some color to this grey atmosphere. Since I have a neon pink lipstick - a color perfect for Barbie - I had no choice and I had to use it! :) Sweet bubble gum color - it seems to scream: KISS ME !!! :)

Oh! Adoro il trend di colori fluo e un make-up forte delle stagione di primavera/estate. Voglio provare un eyeliner verde fluo!

Oggi il tempo era così triste che era proprio impossibile resistere e non aggiungere un po' di colore a questa giornata grigia. Siccome avevo un rosetto di rosa fluo - colore perfetto per la Barbie - non avevo scelta e dovevo usarlo! :) Dolce colore delle caramelle - sembra gridare: BACIA MI!!! :)

The Dress that Came Alive

So i finally made a video for the Collaboration i did with Caravan this last Fashion Week.
I've been wanting to make this video for months now...
The concept was to show the process form concept to being made.
The Song is by a musician i just heard for the first time two weeks ago named Peter Broderick.
His music is pretty amazing, and was a prefect fit for the vibe I wanted for the video.
The Girls in the video are the lovely Kylie Bisutti & Chiara.
I had a lot of fun designing the dresses and really like how they turned out.

red hot chili pepper

Sorry for the super low quality of these pics...well, you HAVE to forgive me! It was seven o'clock in the morning! We were half asleep but I wanted to show you this mini dress - it's so hot and vibrant red. I hope you get the idea from this photos. Since it was bloody early it was also super freezy (and don't tell me that in Rome it's never cold - it is! try to wake up at six am :P) so I jumped into Renato's sweater... realy love my boyfriend's clothes :D Thinking about borrowing his pants (hope he won't read it).

Eravamo mezzo addormentati, ma ho voluto mostrarvi questo mini abito - è così rosso e così sexy. Spero che queste foto rendino l'idea. Siccome era l'alba, era anche tremendemente freddo (e non ditemi che a Roma non fa mai freddo - cercate di svegliarvi alle sei del mattino: P) così ho rubato il maglione di Renato ... veramente adoro usare i vestiti del mio ragazzo :D Penso di prendere in prestito i suoi pantaloni (speriamo che non lo leggerà).

How was your day today?
So, kinda funny story today...
I got the random idea of auditioning for the 4th Twilight movie,
cause i heard they were going on, and i thought it would be a fun experience.
Plus, i've been kicking around the idea of doing a little acting...
Anyways, i found the site to sign up for the audition, filled out all the info, even uploaded a "headshot" (which was hilarious! haha)
and when i finished, it said that auditions ended about 2 weeks ago!! haha
i was like, what! come on! haha! oh well...

So, I picked the painting today in honor of that story,
cause when i was researching the audition, i stumbled on to the "New Moon" Premiere...
and was pleasantly surprised that Dakota Fanning was wearing the incredible black lace Valentino Dress
that i had painted for Sundance Chanel's "Full Frontal Fashion" as part of the Paris Fashion week coverage.
The dress was by far my pick for favorite/Best Dress of this season.
It's just beautiful and eloquent!
I really liked how the painting turned out :)
The render of the dress at that angle was actually pretty hard for me to draw!
It took way longer than i planned.

P.S. I posted pictures of my sister's display at the "L.A. CanStruction" in my image Diary. My sister's is the first picture up there. The L.A. CanStruction is a design/build competition of teams of architects, competing to design and build giant structures made entirely from full cans of food, and then all the cans are donated to the local food banks.

the Count Down

Happy Sunday night!
Well my friends, was it just me or did this weekend crank like lightning?
For some reason, i was in a clothes designing mood all weekend,
so needless to say, i have croquis scattered all over the room.
The next few days are going to be hectic.
It's the few day count down,
cause I'm flying out to Texas Wednesday!
It's going to be really fun.
I just have a lot to figure out in the next few days.
