Marchesa Fall 2011

Morning!
So i'm really excited to show you a little project i've been experimenting with. I know it's really really really different than my usual work. But I'm someone who likes to constantly experiment. I really don't like doing the same technique or medium twice. So i thought it would be interesting to try my hand at 3d Modeling + Digital Painting. So this was one of my first experiments.

It's from Marchasea Fall 2011. Which if you haven't seen it check it out here.
I've been a fan of Marchesa Collections, and the second i saw this dress I got the idea of a girl laying down with the dress flared out on an ornate rug under her, and i really like how it turned out. It's so trippy don't you think? I hope you like it.

Sleeping Tanya

Hey Hey Hey!
How are yawl doing?
I'm back from Texas!
Wow, it was incredible, so quick but so much fun!
Stacy & Darren's Wedding was amazing!
My brother and i took a red-eye Flight to Texas,
and i ended up being awake for 43 hours out of 48,
which was a new record for me! hah
Needless to say, I'm still recovering from it... haahah

The Painting today is of the always bright eyed and beautiful Tanya Dziahileva of Elite Model Management.
I really have been dying to experiment with some combinations of mixed media...
and i really like how this painting turned out.

Tanya Dziahileva - Character Sketchbook v.3

Hey there my friends,
How did the weekend go for you???
Mine was pretty good,
Though i'm extremly tired today.
I guess i got a case of the "Mondays".
But anyways, I finally picked up drawing in my Character Sketchbook.
This is my first painting in it in a while.
The Painting is of the lovely Tanya Dziahileva.

P.s. Posted a Ridiculous Video i made yesterday with my friend Alice on "Inside My Brain"... We had a Wii Bowling Tournament... I won't say who won, you'll just have to watch and see! haa

The Green Gaze

Hi Friends!
How's your week going?
My week is insane! haha
Well, i guess my next two weeks;
The Pre-Fashion Week Buzz is definitely keeping me busy.
So many deadlines over the next few...
I haven't got a chance to look through the Couture Shows yet!
ah! i really want to!
But please forgive me if my posting is a little scattered over the next few weeks!
i'm trying to get some pieces up.

Which brings me to today's piece.
It was a little experimental painting i did.
I really like how it turned out.
It's a lot different, style wise, to my other pieces.
I like the mood of it...

Well... my good friend has a birthday party tonight, so i must be off!

The Girl Experiment

Well, ok so you all requested it....
this was my late night drawing experiment.
It was a super funking and weird technique to get where i got.
It would to hard to explain,
but i don't know, i think it was an interesting idea i want to explore in the near future...
It's definitely different, huh?
Well, for me, i guess.
I finished up 14.5 pages out of 26 in the kid's book, so almost there.
Leaving for Hawaii in less than a week!
