Hey Friends! My good friend Christie Dupree posted this video on her tumblr, and i had to post it. Seriously, i could sit and watch/listen to her sing all day. Something about it that soothes the soul. Enjoy :)
p.s. the original of this painting is in the back right hand corner ;)
Well Good Morning! How are you doing today? Thank you so much for your kind words on the Video! There will hopefully be more where that came from ;) I thought i would post a song i wrote the other day for you all. I tried a fun little experiment on this one... What i did was sit at a piano and hit record and i started just playing whatever came in my head (which i posted on my tumblr last week) and since the song was all improv, the timing was really bad and stuff like that. So i went back through and fixed the timing and then kept those same notes. Then played around with using different instruments to playing different parts of the song... and pretty much this song was born! haha Sorry if the mix on it isn't the best, Mixing is an art in itself, and i am terrible at that art! ha Well i hope you like it, and also if you want it, you can Just Right Click Here:Download Song
Yay! Happy Inspiration Friday, my friends! So i posted the song i wrote the other day. Let me know what you think of it :) The lovely Miss Christie Dupree is going to do vocals for it. I'm really really excited about it. The Instruments: Typewriter (for the beat), Cello, viola, Violin, Piano, Pads, other stuff but can't remember...
Also, I had an project idea today that involves whoever wants to be apart of it. The program is called "Blind Imagination" So basically the concept is:
1: You go out and record and put together 1-2 minutes of "Interesting" Audio and Email it to me at info@igorandandre.com 2: Then I will listen to it, and i will try to come up with a visual for the audio i pick.
Try to make it interesting, and make it hard to for me to figure out what the audio is of. :) Whatcha think?
Well, my friends, I'm sorry for no drawing today. I'm kinda rundown and sick today, so I'm laying low, about to cruise off to dreamland. But i thought i'd post a video of my good friend Miss Christie Dupree (who is also currently sick! haah) Christie and i have co-written and collaborated on a few songs together and are going to be doing some more soon. Click Here to hear one of our songs :) Well, today has been one of those freezing cold and stormy rain days (which i love), and i stumbled on to this video of Christie playing one of her songs, and i just felt like it fit the mood of today perfectly. I hope you like it! :)
Hello, my friends! How was your day? Spent a good amount of the day drawing. But i ended up doing another collage for you all :) I really like how it turned out. It's kinda trippy looking, and also kinda reminds me of the first Romeo & Julietpainting i did a month back. I saw this image of the picture of the girl covering her eyes, on the Dream walking Society, and thought it was amazing!! i love it :) The picture seriously makes me want to play Hide and Go Seek so bad! When was the last time you played that game?! I think I might need to organize a large Hide-N-Seek game in the near future... :) Well, i hope you're having a great day! :)
P.S. The other day, some of you on Twitter, asked me to post some of the songs i wrote.... thought i would post a little song i wrote a little while back... It's just a simple piano song... I hope you like it :)
Good morning! Good morning! It's all nice and cold right now, and i'm sipping on coffee! Woot woo! Feels pretty good. ;) Ok,so i reanimated this scene from my test animation. Here it is! Sorry there isn't more; i haven't had any time, but my goal is to finish it this summer. The music is something i wrote a little while back for this story. i hope it works out for the full animation, but not sure... Hope you're all doing great!
P.S. Thanks for sending me the pictures of you all wearing the shirts. It's been so fun seeing you all wearing the shirts from all over. Keep them coming! :)
Sorry i spaced on giving you all the info on the song. There was a request for the lyrics on the song. Also, i forgot to tell you i wrote the music and Katy wrote and sang the lyrics, based on the painting i did. (above) If you want to hear some more of her music Click Here

Friday! woot woot. Today i had a relaxing day hanging with my friends Alice and Ryan. i was working, and they were working on putting together their wedding invitations, but a good half-n-hour later, we got side tracked dressing up is random costumes and making fake mustaches out of masking tape. We started taking pictures and then we ended up getting coffee and wandering around. It was quiet a fun day! i posted some of the pictures i took up on my image diary If you want to check it out click here!
Hello friends! Thanks for the all the great Audrey Hepburn movie suggestions! I think i'm going to sit down and watch every one of them. :) i'm serious, i was so inspired after My Fair Lady all i wanted to do was paint and think and then paint some more.
Today was great; finished up a few mini projects, also got a valentine order today, so was getting a Valentine ready to ship out, which was quiet fun. Oh, also, i did this painting tonight. i hope you like it. i don't know, there is something about it that makes me smile.
Oh!! Lastly, i finally mixed the song i wrote with my good friend Christie Dupree! I wrote the music and she wrote the lyrics and sang it. i've been writing a fairytale story in my head for years, and the characters are based on people in my own life. Christie's character's name is Camille Queen of the Trees, so that's what the song is about. Hope you like it! i'm off to dream land! Night.
EDIT: Christie just Joined the Blogging Community!!!!!! go check out her blog!
Howdy, my friends. A new week, tons of fun! Woot, woot! Here's a quick sketch i did for you all today. i hope you like it. Also, i wrote this song for you all this weekend. i hope you like it. Morning, Morning! So i got a haircut yesterday, which was much needed cause my hair was about the longest it's ever been! So needless to say, i feel quiet nice this morning. The post for today is a drawing i did for my friend Alice. Well, on New Year's Eve we went over to her house (As seen here :)) and i looked up on the wall, and low and behold, the Painting was on the wall. :) Oh, p.s. the picture is of me on another adventure in the underground forest.
But seeing it again made me want to post it. i really enjoy this one alot.
I posted a song for one of my best friends Mr. Ryan Baxley. i thought it was fitting considering the post was about his fiancés painting. :) It's really a great song from his Album "Bedtime Stories & Fairytales"
Ok, so, i know this is the 3rd Taylor Swift drawing i've posted on here, but this one comes with a story. When my mom saw the drawings i had already posted of her, she said to me, "Oh Danny, you know what? I have the perfect picture of Taylor Swift for you to draw." i turned to her with a puzzled yet amused look on my face and said, " Oh yea?" Taking my prompting she responded, " Yes! When I was at Starbucks today, I saw her new album cover and it's perfect for you to draw. I mean, in the picture she's got 'Your Hair'. You know what I mean, like the hair you draw. You should draw it."
haha. Yes, so this was Saturday that she said this to me. So i always "Honor my Father and my Mother" and thus this post was born. :)
On another note, I was contacted by Schnati from the great German blog Les Mads. and she said they wanted to do a interview with me. So it's up today on their site. Click Here for the Les Mads Interview
Lastly, you may have noticed that there is a play button under the drawing up there. Well, it's been a really long time since i've taken the time to sit down and write music, but i really needed to, so i finally did this weekend, and i composed a song for you all. i've been wanting to write a soundtrack for my life and the moods i'm in. This song represents the mood i was in this weekend. I plan on making a short film edited to the music. I hope you like it!

Wow! This was a L-O-N-G week. I've been working so much with not too much sleep.... but i love Saturdays. My family has a new ritual this year for Saturdays. We spend the morning getting bagels and going to Pete's for coffee and sit and talk. Then we go home and hang out and watch movies. It's so so so nice, so therapeutic.
Well, the picture i posted is this poster i did a little while back for my friend in Texas Miss Sarah Jaffe. She is one of the most brilliant musicians i've heard. She just came out with her first official Ep, "Even Born Again". I ordered it and it arrived two days ago... and seriously, it's all i ever want to listen to from now on. She is so smart, clever, with the greatest senses of humor, and her voice is one of my all time favorite voices. Her music is the most sincere sounding music you will hear. It is as though she has lived a hundred life times and seen and experienced everything a person could, and she writes with that kind of knowledge. She can do all this, and she is in her early 20s. i think she is going to be huge! Please check her out and support here music.
Hello my friends, this drawing below i did as a collaboration project with my friend Christie Dupree. The way it worked is i wrote music for a song and sent it to her. and then did this painting inspired by the song. and sent it to her, and then she wrote lyrics inspired by the painting. Her Version of the song isn't down yet. but i posted the version with out words. Let me know what you think.
